Below you will find Notices to Parties and Members of the Legal Profession and Practice Directions issued by the Chairperson of the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Tribunal.

The Tribunal now offers enhanced access and research functions for its decisions and orders.


Decisions and orders and now organized in collections that can be researched in full-text and filtered by different fields such as the date, the type of decision and their title, among other options.


All decisions and orders from the Tribunal are now available in HTML format and accessible in compliance with the WCAG 2.0 Level AA standards, making them easier to browse and read for persons with disabilities. Decisions and orders are also available in PDF format for download and print.


All decisions and orders are now designated using the Neutral Citation standard of the Canadian Citation Committee.  Each Tribunal decision or order rendered to date has been assigned a unique and vendor-neutral citation facilitating the identification of our decisions across various online databases.

New Physical Security Measures for Visitors to the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Tribunal (PSDPT)


A number of physical security enhancements will be implemented at 90 Sparks Street, to ensure that the PSDPT remains a secure environment for members, parties, witnesses, members of the legal profession, employees and the public in attendance. While the majority of these measures will be imperceptible, security screening of visitors and their belongings will affect all those who access the PSDPT facilities.


All visitors to the PSDPT, including lawyers, parties, witnesses, media and observers attending proceedings, will be subject to the security screening process and will need to consent to screening to have access to the PSDPT.


The Courts Administration Service (CAS) is the lead department for these new security measures and it has assured us it will make every effort to ensure an efficient screening process. Parties, witnesses and lawyers are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of the proceeding. Information about the screening process and list of prohibited items are available on the CAS web site.
